Hug-Chan Robot Wants Hugs, Uses Samsung Galaxy Tablet and Smartphone

You'd think the holidays were when people got together and made merry, but Samsung and RT Corp think Christmas is no longer just a human holiday.

The two basically got together and built Hug-Chan, a robot that, well, wants hugs!

With a Galaxy S II LTE smartphone as the heart piece, a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE tablet acts as the head and brains.

You don't have to actually go to the Galaxy Cafe in Roppongi Hills to meet and hug the thing, though.

Most of it is about how it was made and from what, but you'll get to see him, or her, or it, dance a bit as well.

Now we just have to see if this lasts for any amount of time without someone saying they thought of it first.
