The object is located relatively far from our planet

In one of the latest observations sessions conducted using the Hubble Space Telescope, astronomers managed to produce an amazingly-sharp view of the massive spiral galaxy NGC 4911. As seen in this image, the object looks impressive indeed.

The formation is located about 320 million light-years away from Earth, inside the Coma Cluster of galaxies. The latter is one of two main components of the enormous Coma Supercluster, which also included the Leo Cluster (Abell 1367).

More than 1,000 galaxies neighbor NGC 4911, yet Hubble's advanced instruments were able to penetrate all the way to this object's location. Some of that datasets included in this photograph were collected between 2006 and 2009.

The Coma Supercluster is itself located at the center of the CfA Great Wall, one of the largest organized structures in the known Universe. The only formations larger that this are the Sloan Great Wall and the Pisces-Cetus Supercluster Complex, Daily Galaxy reports.
