Huawei Technologies has recently launched the stylish U120, an entry-level 3G device that is meant to be an affordable solution which will help mobile operators drive further development of the 3G market by broadening the appeal of 3G multimedia services and application.

?Huawei has always been focused on providing innovative solutions to meet the needs of operators worldwide,? commented Mr. Guo Ping, president of Huawei Terminal Business Unit. ?These stylish terminals provide them with the means to deliver specific services to their customers which will in turn help them to increase their Average Revenue Per Unit (ARPU).?

The handset has been optimized for music lovers with active lifestyles and is ? according to the manufacturer ? extremely easy to use while still rich in features and music functionality.

With a pretty stylish appearance, the U120 includes features such as a 1.8 inch 262k color TFT display, 1.3 megapixel CMOS camera, support for video streaming and video calling, background music playing and a standard 3.5 mm earphone jack so that the user can choose between a wide range of headphones to listen to music on.

The handset supports several file formats including MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP4, 3GP, 3G2 and offers Bluetooth for connectivity. The MicroSD card slot will ensure that the user has enough storage space for his/her files.

With a full set of features, the U120 offers pretty much the same as other higher-end handsets, but at a more affordable price. There is currently no information regarding the price or availability of this mobile phone.
