For those who don't remember, Huawei announced a new device earlier this month at Mobile World Congress 2015, which is called MediaPad X2.

If you aren't aware of Huawei's lineup of Android devices, then know that this is the sequel to the MediaPad X1, a tablet with support for GSM voice calls that was launched last year in April.

However, the MediaPad X2 is not a tablet, as Huawei claims this 7-inch device is actually a phablet. So, let's refer to it as a smartphone just for the sake of it.

Anyway, back in early March when the smartphone was announced, Huawei did not share any details on price tag or availability.

However, it looks like Huawei MediaPad X2 is now available for pre-order via Amazon Germany and Amazon Italy for no less than €400 ($420) outright. This is the price for the 32GB model, but the 16GB version is available as well for only €350 ($370).

Unfortunately, there aren't any details regarding the release date of the Huawei MediaPad X2, but we'll probably know more in the coming days.

Moving on to specs, Huawei MediaPad X2 will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box and Emotion UI 3.0 on top.

On the inside, the phablet is equipped with Huawei's in-house Hisilicon Kirin 930 chipset, which accommodates a 2GHz A-53 quad-core and another 1.5GHz quad-core CPU.

The phone's CPU is complemented by a Mali-T628 MP4 and 3GB of RAM. It also packs 32GB of internal memory that can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The 16GB model comes with only 2GB of RAM.

As mentioned earlier, Huawei MediaPad X2 sports a huge 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution.

On the back, it packs a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera.

Huawei MediaPad X2 is powered by a massive 5000 mAh battery, which is rated for up to 576 hours of standby time.
