The Huawei 7D-501 tablet has made it in the news section before, when it was spotted making an appearance on the Bluetooth SIG website, getting its certification.

But earlier this month, I couldn't tell you much about it, except that it had a 7-inch full HD screen. Now I’m able to come back and bring you the complete list of specifications, including the tablet’s name.

The narrow-framed slate will be called the Huawei MediaPad X1 7.0 and according to Chinese website TEENA (via MobileGeeks), the tablet will boasts a 1920 x 1200 and will draw power from the new Huawei HiSilicon 910 “Kirin” quad-core ARM Cortex A9 SoC clocked at 1.6GHz combined with 2GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the slate will have dual cameras (5MP on the back and 1.3MP up in front), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G modem and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean as default OS. An LTE variant will also be made available.

The MediaPad X1 7.0 will certainly draw attention due to its look reminiscent of the iPad mini, so you might want to keep an eye out for it.
