Introduced back in February, the Huawei MediaPad X1 4G LTE tablet with phone calling capabilities has failed until now to materialize in retail.

But for those of you who were waiting for the device to finally be made available, I can tell you the time has come, as reported by Cngadget.

Starting today, the 4G capable device will be up for grabs for the price of $367 / €269. This makes the new model $80 / €59 more expensive than its 3G counterpart.

This version arrives with 32GB of internal storage and support from Unicom 4G LTE network. For those of you who forget what the MediaPad X1 tablet should be bringing to the table in terms of specs, here’s a little recap.

The device arrives with a 7-inch display that offers full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels). Huawei has slipped a 1.6GHz quad-core HiSilicon processor under the bonnet, combined with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB via microSD).

The tablet’s 5000 mAh battery should provide users with enough juice for streaming 5 movies, watching 8 stored films, accessing the Internet for 15 hours and playing 125 hours of music.

Sadly, the tablet runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and not Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat and Huawei hasn't mentioned anything in terms of updates, but if you’re willing to put this aspect behind, the tablet doesn't sound half-bad.
