The slate will arrive on shelves in Russia, China, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe

A new tablet PC running under Google’s Android operating system is now official from Huawei, namely the MediaPad 7 Youth, set to arrive on shelves in the not too distant future with a 7-inch touchscreen display on the front.

The new device was made official with a 1.6GHz dual-core processor inside, a 4100mAh Li-Polymer battery, Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top, and HSPA+ (up to 21Mbps) connectivity capabilities.

Furthermore, the new device sports Wi-Fi, voice calling, SMS, and MMS capabilities, is only 9.9mm thick, and weighs 350 grams as AndroidOS notes.

It will become available for purchase in the not too distant future in Russia, China, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe.
