Several new Huawei tablets have been leaking online in the past few months and one actually made an appearance in the company’s official Russian layer.

The tablet is called Huawei MediaPad 7 Classic and brings forth a 7-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

The device-maker is known to power its own products, so on the inside we find a quad-core HiSilicon (Cortex A9) processor clocked at 1.2GHz combined with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (upgradable to 32GB).

The slate also has dual cameras (VGA in front and 3.2MP on the back), Wi-Fi, microUSB, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS receiver with A-GPS, 3G modem which allows data transfer via HSPA+ and the ability to place voice calls.

Huawei’s latest MediaPad 7 Classic is powered by a 4100 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, with no mention of a KitKat update.

Overall, this is a pretty common tablet and the device sells for a pretty bulky $273 / €202.
