Good news for Huawei fans, as the Chinese company is very close to releasing another flagship smartphone, the Honor 7 Plus. The unannounced phablet leaked some weeks ago, but not many of its specs have been revealed at that time.

Today, new information on Huawei's next big thing popped up in China, and judging from the specs sheet mentioned in the leak, this could be the company's next flagship smartphone.

Unfortunately, Huawei has quite a few high-end smartphones in the pipeline, so it's hard to tell which one will top them all specs-wise.

Still, the Honor 7 Plus could easily be one of the best smartphones launched by Huawei, even though it doesn't belong to the “Ascend” family which is supposed to be the company's high-end lineup.

Moving on to specs, it looks like Huawei Honor 7 Plus will be packed with a fingerprint scanner on the back side, right below the main camera.

This is the same fingerprint scanner that was confirmed for the Honor 7 that leaked less than a month ago.

4,000 mAh battery and Quad HD display are the key selling points

Another selling point of the Honor 7 Plus would be the 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

On the back, the phablet will feature a 16-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, dual-LED flash and video recording, while in the front there will be a no-less-impressive 13-megapixel camera for video calls and great selfies.

While this hasn't yet been confirmed, there's a high chance that Huawei Honor 7 Plus will be equipped with an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 930 processor.

We do know that the phablet will pack 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).

No word on which version of Android it will run, but we believe it will ship with Lollipop onboard. Last but not least, Huawei Honor 7 Plus will be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery.
