14 DAY TRIAL // Chinese company Huawei has just announced the upcoming availability of another mid-range Android smartphone, the Honor 4C.
The new handset will be initially released in China, so customers will be able to get it via Huawei's Vmall online stores, but also at Alibaba Tmall stores beginning May 7.
Those interested may want to know that registrations for the first sale have already opened and they can now try to get the Honor 4C from either of the retailers.
It's also worth mentioning that three models of the Huawei Honor 4C will be available in the Mainland, through China Unicom 4G, China Mobile 4G, and China Telecom. They will come with different specs depending on the carrier.
According to Huawei, its new Honor 4C will be available in Black, Blue, Gold, Pink and White color options, for only 800 yuan ($128 / €118) outright.
Now, let's see what the smartphone has to offer for the price mentioned.
Three models, different specifications
Well, first of all, Huawei Honor 4C will ship with the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system right out of the box, along with EM UI 3.0 on top.
On the inside, depending on which variant you want, the Honor 4C might pack a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, or a HiSilicon Kirin 620 octa-core CPU.
All three versions are equipped with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
Huawei Honor 4C sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and it’s powered by a 2,550 mAh battery.
It also offers dual-SIM support and dual cameras (13-megapixel main camera with autofocus, LED flash, video recording and 22mm wide-angle lens, as well as 5-megapixel secondary camera in the front).
For the time being, it's unclear whether or not Huawei Honor 4C will be available for purchase in other countries in the coming months, so stay tuned.
