Here is another cheaper-than-expected top-tier smartphone that will go on sale next month in Asia. If you haven’t got used with high-end devices being released in China at very affordable prices, here is an example.

The Huawei Glory 6 Plus is the next high-end smartphone to be released by the Chinese company in the Mainland. According to AndroidHeadlines, the upcoming device should be released in China on December 16 or around that timeframe.

More importantly, Huawei Glory 6 Plus will only cost 3,300 yuan outright, which is about $535 (€430). Considering the phone’s rumored specs, the price is very good.

Obviously, there are cheaper Android smartphones in China packed with decent specs, but let’s see what Huawei’s handset has to offer.

First of all, Huawei Glory 6 Plus will be equipped with the Chinese company proprietary Kirin 920 chipset that accommodates an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz and a Mali-T268 graphics processing unit. On top of that, the smartphone packs no less than 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

The Glory 6 Plus comes with dual 8-megapixel cameras on the back

The smartphone also comes with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB), as well as dual cameras on the back. The Glory 6 Plus features two 8-megapixel photo snappers on the back side, which will be able to capture some kind of 3D photos.

The cameras on the back feature autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. The phone also packs a secondary front-facing camera of unknown size.

Huawei Glory 6 Plus measures 150 x 76 x 7.5mm and weighs around 165g (battery included). It looks like the Chinese handset maker is going to launch a pretty sleek device next month.

Moving on to display, the Glory 6 Plus is said to sport a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with full HD (1080p) resolution, even though rumors claims the smartphone’s screen can have 1800 x 1080 pixels resolution instead.

Connectivity-wise, Huawei’s smartphone is likely to offer 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS with A-GPS.

The smartphone has been recently certified at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission, which means Huawei Glory 6 Plus is likely to be announced next month, as rumored.

However, it’s unclear whether or not Huawei will bring the Glory 6 Plus in other countries after launching the smartphone in China in mid-December. We will definitely find out in about two weeks, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
