Since MediaTek announced the first real octa-core processor for mobile devices, several handset makers have already expressed their wish to put it into their smartphones.

Huawei’s next flagship smartphone Glory 4 was teased a while ago by none other than the company’s CEO, Richard Yu. However, Huawei’s official did not reveal any of the specs that the Glory 4 would offer users.

Today, UnwiredView reports that Huawei Glory 4 has leaked once again and this time we have a partial list of specs, which might be included within the smartphone.

The information comes directly from China via MyDrivers blog site, and mentions that Huawei Glory 4 will be launched next month in the Mainland.

Even though there’s no word on price tag yet, Richard Yu has previously stated that Glory 4’s specs will be higher than Xiaomi Red Rice’s, which is a dirt cheap smartphone with high-end features, and will be priced around the same range.

There’s even more good news, as Huawei Glory 4 is said to be equipped with MediaTek’s MT6592 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz.

Unfortunately, we have no confirmation from the chip vendor yet, but we suspect that Huawei will issue an official statement in the next few weeks.

Aside from the powerful processor, Huawei Glory 4 is rumored to pack 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. No word on whether or not it will offer users the option to further expand storage via microSD memory cards yet.

Furthermore, the upcoming smartphone will be powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and Huawei’s Emotion UI 2.0 out of the box.

Huawei Glory 4 sports an HD (720p) capacitive touchscreen display of unknown size and boasts an enhanced 13-megapixel main photo snapper, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The smartphone will be launched in China as Huawei Glory 4, but it might arrive in other countries as Honor 4. Stay tuned for more info on this one.
