Chinese mobile phone maker Huawei is getting ready for the launch of a new smartphone running under the Android operating system in Europe, none other than the entry-level Ascend Y530.

The company has already made the device official in Europe, with a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor packed inside, and with only 512MB of RAM.

The new mobile phone comes to the market with a 4.5-inch 480 x 854 pixels display, 1GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

Moreover, it sports HSDPA connectivity, WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, a 5-megapixel camera on the back, and VGA front camera for video calling.

The smartphone features a 1750 mAh battery inside and runs under the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. As PhoneArena notes, the smartphone will arrive on shelves with a price tag of around $200 (€149) attached to it.
