Huawei launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Ascend P7, earlier this month, but it only made it available in Germany and France.

However, starting this weekend, Huawei Ascend P7 is available in Taiwan too. The smartphone was launched in the country in collaboration with Chunghwa Telecom carrier, Digitimes reports.

Customers who wish to purchase Huawei’s newest flagship smartphone will have to come up with NT$ 16,900 outright, which is about $565 or €415.

According to the cited source, Huawei aims to sell no less than 10 million Ascend P7 units globally by the end of this year, although the Chinese company has several upcoming smartphones in the pipeline.

The Ascend P7 is equipped with a 1.8GHz quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 910T processor, a Mali-450MP4 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

In addition, the smartphone sports a vibrant 5-inch IPS full HD (1080p) capacitive touchscreen display that features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating. The Ascend P7 packs 16GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 64GB).

There’s also a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary impressive 8-megapixel camera in the front for that perfect selfie.
