Huawei Ascend P1 LTE Receives FCC Approval

The Ascend P1 is one of Huawei’s high-end smartphones and has just made its entrance on the North American market.

The device was spotted at FCC (Federal Communication Commission) a few months ago and is now available for purchase in Canada via WIND Mobile.

However, the Ascend P1 has yet to be released in the United States. In this regard, an LTE version of the Ascend P1 has just received FCC’s approval and is expected to be launched in the US in the following weeks.

The phone is referred to as Huawei 201HW, which is the codename for the Japanese version of the device, which will be launched via SoftBank.

Although this is a non-US version of the Ascend P1 LTE, we suspect the Chinese handset maker will release the smartphone in United States within the next few months.
