One of the biggest Android smartphones soon to be launched on the market, the Huawei Ascend Mate is now available for pre-order in Australia.

Featuring a huge 6.1-inch IPS+ LCD capacitive touchscreen display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass coating, the Ascend Mate will probably be impossible to handle with just one hand.

Anyway, customers in Australia who feel adventurous enough can give this one a try, as the smartphone is now up for pre-order at Harvey Norman for only $430/€345. Check it out here.

According to AusDroid, Huawei Ascend Mate is exclusive to Harvey Norman. It is also worth mentioning that the retailer has also included a Boost unlimited prepaid starter kit worth $40/€30 in the sales package.

The Ascend Mate will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and a powerful 1.5 GHz quad-core Huawei K3V2 processor inside. More details on the smartphone’s specs sheet are available here.
