It will be launched via China Telecom and China Unicom

Huawei’s Ascend D2 smartphone is set to land on shelves in China in the not too distant future, and will be available for purchase via two wireless carriers in the country, namely China Telecom and China Unicom.

The Android-based handset will feature a price tag of 3,990 Yuan ($642 / €493) at China Telecom, while expected to become available at 3,780 Yuan ($608 / €467) via China Unicom, a post on Gizchina reads.

Made official in January at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Ascend D2 arrives on shelves as a flagship device, packing a 5-inch 1080 HD touchscreen display and a 1.5GHz quad-core K3V2 processor.

The smartphone also arrives on shelves with 2GB of RAM inside, a 3000 mAh battery, and a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for full HD video recording.
