HTC Sense is a great software suite designed by the Taiwanese manufacturer that will enhance the usual Android options, adding new features, widgets, proprietary applications, and much more.

If you have an HTC phone that comes with the HTC Sense software suite and also uses the company's latest ImageChip, you will find that the default settings of your smartphone's camera are not taking advantage of the full power of the imaging processor.

For example, if you own an HTC smartphone with an 8MP camera, the default settings will use a 16:9 format that limits the actual resolution to only 6MP.

Moreover, the video resolution is set by default at 960x540 qHD, while your HTC device can also record video footage using a 1080p Full HD format. Check out a small tutorial posted by Phonearena and learn how you can quickly change these settings to get the best from your photos and videos.
