How to Transfer Videos, Songs and Photos on Your PSP

The questions below may seem basic enough, but the answers to them include enough new info to satisfy any PSP owner who claims that he's quite good at handling his portable device. Considering that nowadays consoles tend to get turned into multimedia centers and devices with the sole purpose of entertaining your visually and acoustically, a FAQ is always a useful way to check out new pieces of advice. Some of you may even use the PSP's memory stick as a storage device, while some of you may have had issues while transferring videos/photos/songs to their
console.

There are three basic questions below and the answers we've stumbled upon on the PlayStation.com forums, in case you were wondering. If you've got any more questions or suggestions, feel free to post below and comment upon this article.

How do I transfer Videos I have converted?

- Put your PSP into USB mode.
- Plug your PSP into your computer
- Open the drive found by you computer
- DO NOT open the PSP folder
- Create a new folder next to the PSP folder name "MP_ROOT"
- Create a new folder within "MP_ROOT" named "100MNV01"
- Drag your videos into the folder named "100MNV01"
- Eject the PSP from your computer

How do I transfer songs to my PSP?

- Put your PSP into USB mode
- Plug your PSP into your computer
- Locate your MP3s or Atrac3 Plus tracks on your computer and copy them into "E Drive/PSP/Music"
- Eject the drive from your computer.

How do I transfer photos to my PSP?

- Put your PSP into USB mode
- Plug your PSP into your computer

Locate your JPEG pictures on your computer and copy them into "E Drive/PSP/Photos"

NOTE: The removable disk may or may not be named E Drive, in any of the situations mentioned above.

when i plug my psp in, it finds, removable disk f, but when i click on it, it says please insert disk, what do i need to do?

so ive copied my JPED pictures then what do i do?
