The process won’t work on the basic Nook or Nook Glow

If you own a Nook device of some sort, from time to time, you might want to take a snapshot of your settings window or just share a picture with somebody.

Well, if you were at a loss of how to achieve this basically simple feat, Goodreader has posted a video tutorial teaching you how to get the needed screenshot on the Nook HD+.

It’s pretty easy. You’ll just have to hold the volume down button and the N button at the same time for an average of 2 seconds.

After that, you’ll see a screenshot preview which quickly disappears, letting you know the screenshot has been taken. You’ll find the images in the dedicated Screenshot folder on the device.

The same process can be applied for all Nook devices, but for the Nook HD and HD+, you’ll have to hold the button down for a few seconds. However, on the Nook Color and Nook tablets, the screenshots will be snapped instantly.

Sadly, the basic Nook and Nook Glow won’t allow you to take screenshots whatsoever.
