Look no further! We have the solution right here, and it is easier than you think. Even if we tested on Ubuntu 10.10, the following tutorial is for Linux, Windows and Macintosh users, and it will teach you how to keep your Firefox extensions, bookmarks, passwords, preferences, history and tabs in sync across multiple computers.

I use "Session Manager", set it to save sessions in a folder in Dropbox so my browsing session follows me between computers :)

You could also take a look at FEBE, a Firefox extension that backs up not only your bookmarks and extensions, but also your history and other Firefox settings. I use FEBE and a free Dropbox account to keep several systems completely in sync.

Xmarks is what I use for all of this function. It is cross-platform and cross browser. Even on your phone.

My old computer bit it, need to import ff sync from what I thought lived somewhere other than just the old computer. How do I get these bm's back if all I have is this silly iPhone?

Nothing named FireFox sync shows up in the search results. I can't get sync to work in FF 10.0. The instructions from FF are crap.

That's because Firefox 10 already has the Firefox Sync functionality, incorporated (built-in) by default. Just go to Edit -> Preferences -> Sync and create an account.
