NDS4iOS available for download with Dropbox integration and ROM download browser

If you’re looking for a quick NDS fix but only have an iDevice at hand, you’ll be glad to know that there’s a free emulator available that you can download and use without a jailbreak. It’s called NDS4iOS and it even has Dropbox integration to access ROMs.

The emulation tool previously relied on an Apple Enterprise certificate that was later revoked, thwarting its functionality on non-jailbroken units. Now it’s available again for users who prefer not to hack their devices but still want to emulate games.

Case in point, NDS4iOS now offers that possibility via a simple tweak that you need to perform in the Time settings of your iPhone or iPad. Users must simply browse over to the NDS4iOS and download the app, then change the date on their device to February 8, 2014.

At this point they can fire up the app and grab any ROMs they may have in their Dropbox account, or use the app’s built-in ROM download browser to search for and download fresh ROMs.

Needless to point out, downloading ROMs (Nintendo game files) you do not own on cartridge constitutes piracy, so you should not engage in this activity if you’re unsure of the legality of your actions.
