The aliens are coming! Even worse, they're probably already here, masquerading as human beings. They're preparing to take over the world and destroy the human race. We must draw them out and destroy them, but in order to tell them apart from the regular Joe Human, we require a very special item, namely the Biohazard watch presented by the crazy Japanese company Tokyoflash. Ok, I admit it, I kinda fell pray to the SciFi and rather bizarre marketing campaign the aforementioned company created for the Biohazard watch, but leaving all aliens aside, this device is a pretty cool one (as most watches coming from Tokyoflash are).
Thus, this "alien DNA scanner" features an advanced LCD display packed full of special effects, which make you think that you're actually in one of those SF movies you enjoy so much. And, as you probably expected, the Biohazard watch also shows the time in a very interesting manner. Thus, whenever the user presses a certain button, the watch goes into the so-called "scan mode", where the various panels & readouts animate as if scanning the area for life forms. Then, in order to find out the time, all the user has to do is count the colored segments.
As you can very well see in the picture, at the top of the screen there's a red & white DNA helix composed of 12 bars to indicate the hour. At the bottom of the display there are some blue blocks, accounting for 5 minutes each, while the green blocks represent 1 minute. There are also indicators for AM/PM and seconds, but also a date indicator (a.k.a the "Alien DNA%). Thus, for example, if you see something like "Alien DNA 12.08%", that doesn't really mean that the person in front of you has some extraterrestrial origins, but that it's the 8'th of December.
Here are the main specs and features the watch has to offer:
- dimensions: 37 mm x 38 mm x 12 mm;
- weight: 150 grams;
- maximum wrist dimension: 210 mm;
- made from solid stainless steel;
- features: extremely detailed color display.
