Microsoft is giving away flyers to reserve your Surface

Buying a Microsoft Surface tablet is not that hard if you wish to preorder one via the Microsoft Store online page, but some people like to do things the old, traditional way.

And purchasing a Surface personally from a Microsoft Store seems to be the best method to make sure you’ll get the device a bit faster, as the company has started to give away reservation passes.

The flyers are “good only on Friday, October 26” and if you arrive at the Microsoft Store before noon, WPCentral writes.

“Congratulations, Surface is almost yours. This pass reserves a brand new Surface just for you. Bring this pass to the Microsoft retail store before 12 p.m on the day shown above. Your Surface will be ready for you to purchase,” the reservation pass readers.

It appears that Microsoft isn’t giving away more than 150-200 cards per store, so the company probably expects to see a couple hundred people waiting in line to get the Surface.

The best thing however is that these flyers guarantee that you’ll get the device on October 26 and you’ll be one of the first users on the planet holding the new tablet.

While delays in shipments aren’t yet confirmed, they could appear on October 26, given the huge number of preorders received by the company in just a few days.

Of course, pricing remains the same, no matter if you buy the Surface from the website or from a Microsoft Store, so you still have to pay at least $499 (€380) if you want to get the cheapest version.
