Amazon has a great deal of Kindle tablets out and while they are great useful products, one of their caveats consists of not being able to play any online Flash content. And since most things around the web are done with Adobe Flash, this might get quite frustrating.

But don’t despair and keep reading to check out some of the possible solutions. First I’ll be talking into consideration the latest Amazon tablets, the Kindle Fire HDX 7 and 8.9 on which you can enable the function via the SILK web-browser.

You’ll just have to look for the Experimental Streaming Viewer. To locate it go to the Web tab > Menu > Settings > Accelerated page loading > Turn on.

After turning this particular feature on, two more features will be enabled, Enable Flash Forward and Prompt for experimental streaming viewer.

For older versions of the Kindle Fire tablet, users will have to install a Flash-supported browser, like the Dolphin HD.

Do to this you’ll have to swipe down from the top > More > Device > Allow Installation of Applications, which will enable you to download and install apps which aren’t normally available in the Amazon App Store.

Next you’ll have to access Amazon’s Appstore for Android to get the software. After you perform the installation you should be good to go, Flash-wise.
