Are you getting tired of always having to carry around various chargers for your mobile devices, chargers that not only occupy a lot of space,
but also get tangled or misplaced? Well, this is quite a widespread problem, considering the huge number of people using handhelds, but it seems that the Splashpower Company has managed to come up with a very smart solution, that could revolutionize the concept of charging altogether, namely the wireless charging system.

This very innovative system is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction and uses inductive technology as a means of power transfer, thus eliminating the need for wires. The Splashpower system is formed out of the SplashPad, which is an universal wireless charging pad, and a SplashModule power receiver, a small device which must be inserted in the handheld's power system and has the purpose of receiving the energy transmitted by the SplashPad and turn it into electrical power.

One of the greatest advantages of this system (besides the lack of wires) resides in the usability department, since all the user has to do is place his/her Splash-enabled handheld device on the SplashPad and let the device work its electromagnetic magic. Unfortunately, there's no word yet on the price and/or availability of this very innovative technology, which it's being tested for almost 4 years now, and is yet to become mainstream.
