Haute Secure is probably one of the most innovative security tools on the market because it brings a revolutionary technology able to fight against the Internet threats such as malware and dangerous content. Basically, it works like a browser plug-in and once a user types a malicious URL it stops the loading process and informs the consumer about the existence of infected content. How does it work? Well, it is based on a huge community of users because every time a new Haute Secure client visits a page that is discovered as dangerous, it is automatically added to the database of all other customers.

"When you request a site that contains a malicious link in our database, the Haute Secure client on your computer will stop the browser from loading the link and its associated content, adding another layer of protection to stopping malware attacks. You will receive a red warning when we are blocking a link that was found to be malicious," the developers tried to described the way the application works.

At this time, Haute Secure is compatible only with the Internet Explorer browser but a Mozilla Firefox version is expected soon. The plug-in works with Windows XP and Windows Vista, also in 64-bit mode.

"Our software makes a decision based on multiple variables to determine if a site or link or software trying to download is in fact malicious. However, there may be times when you disagree and want to override, and we always provide you that opportunity. We strive to give you the most current and up-to-date information to make an informed decision," it is mentioned in the application's help menu.
