Jogging speakers

Now, Senator Carl Kruger's bill about banning the iPod, cell phone, PSP, blackberry and many more, when crossing a NY street, or while on a bicycle or jogging has some point in it.

I mean, if there are people stupid enough as to crank up the volume so loud and be that indolent as to not care about looking both ways when crossing the street... it seems like something has to be done, somehow.

How dumb can anyone be while knowing that he/she can't hear a damn thing other than the booms in the headphones and not - at least - take a glance along the street they're about to cross? Well, as you can see, these silly things actually happen and people get hit by a bus and die.

I feel sorry for the families of those who have deceased yet I can't hold off a smile if not even laughter imagining the ridiculous of the actual situation of smiling dumbly when getting ran over by a 10 ton-bus.

SafeSound Sports (SSS) took notice of all this crap and quickly developed a bestselling gimmick. Yep, "gimmick" - because it is nothing more then that. A set of 2 good and small speakers which a jogger or biker should strap to the shoulders of the t-shirt and listen to music this way.

It is more than obvious that, now, the listener will (or at least SHOULD) also hear the noise of a speeding bus heading to crush him/her, or the sound of potentially harmful/aggressive animals in the park, or even the approaching perpetrator with malevolent intentions...

SSS states that the Neodymium speakers ensure tight low frequencies and crisp shimmering highs while being very durable and low-weight. This weight-issue is definitely a must as you have to actually attach the speakers to your (T-)shirt and you don't what them to hang like two stones.

Working with any kind of iPod or MP3 player, the SafeSound Sports set of mini-speakers is a real hit, especially as the under $20-price and 1-year warranty, combined with the current limited offer of free shipping make of it a cheap and (for some people) handy acquisition.

I won't say whether you should buy these speakers, but I can warmly recommend you to learn how to cross a street and thus avoid getting killed by the bus.
