News got out that Britney Spears filed for divorce from Kevin Federline and people are already wondering how he's going to get. The question is, as a matter of fact, a logical one especially considering that, for the two years that their marriage lasted, K-Fed lived off his wife's money, his income being far too small to account for his living on such a grand scale.
With the divorce papers, there was also something new that people were unaware of and that came out: a prenuptial contract the two signed before getting hitched. According to sources, the wannabe rapper will not get to cash on his wife's millions so, Britney's assets are safe.
'Us Magazine' informs that all the money Britney made with her singing and acting career (and there are many millions involved as anyone can guess) will remain hers. The mansion the two lived in, situated in Malibu and bought by Britney will be split 50/50 and any gift given (by any of the two) will be returned to the one who purchased it, only if it's worth over $10,000.
That means that Kevin will have to learn to live without the custom built motorcycle Brit gave him for Christmas and, probably, without the custom made Ferrari he was so proud of. He will keep, instead, a Swatch watch and the many pairs of sneakers he bought during their two-year-old marriage.
Britney will not pay child support for Kevin's two children with Shar Jackson, as she did while she was his wife. But there still is a ray of hope for the self-deluded rapper: the princess of pop has to pay him a monthly allowance of $30,000 per month for half the period of time she was married to him.
Rejoice, K-Fed, that means an extra year of having an income without having to actually work for it or something!
