The two companies have announced yesterday that MSN users will be able to send and receive messages from the persons using Vodafone mobile phones.
Currently there are about 155 million Vodafone users and an estimated 165 million persons are using the MSN Messenger.
Although
MSN Messenger is free-of-charge for the persons using it from a PC, Vodafone and MSN have announced that in order to exchange messages between mobile phones and the MSN service, the customers will have to pay a fee.
The Inquirer has discovered that this partnership is operational in nine countries and has also found out how much a British user has to pay in order to send messages to MSN.
Thus, 25 messages cost 2.99 pounds, for 50 messages the user has to pay 4.99 pounds, and 13.99 pounds will give you 150 messages.
The people from The Inquirer make a very good point when talking about these prices and we believe that the persons that will decide to use Vodafone's and MSN's new service will consider very carefully what they have to say.
