Without a doubt, Chris Nolan has gone out of his way to make “The Dark Knight Rises,” his third and last Batman film, bigger, better, and more impressive than the previous two. Were this in real life, being Batman would have cost Bruce Wayne a fortune large enough to buy a country.

MoneySupermarket has conducted investigations into the potential costs of all the things that make Bruce Wayne into the caped crusader Batman and, trust us, it's no trifling business that of fighting crime as a masked superhero.

Check out the infographic below for an idea of the expenses Wayne has incurred in TDKR, which features more gadgets and weapons than either of the previous two installments.

The e-zine has also taken into account the Batcave, Wayne Manor and Alfred's services, but also Bruce Wayne's education and training, besides the cost of his fight vehicles (the Batpod, The Bat, and the Tumbler) and his various weapons.

At the end of the day year, when Mr. Wayne draws the line, he will have spent $682,451,350 (€556.69 million). So, yes, he's that rich!
