How Did Tom Cruise Pick Up Katie Holmes

Dreams come true

Tom has licensed a strange way of picking up women.
Star magazine reports about how the two began dating. Tom's agent called Katie's publicist, saying his client wanted to meet Katie.
It was that simple. No wonder Oprah's not buying it, labeling the whole deal 'a publicity stunt'.

The phone call occurred in April last year, and everyone was certain it was all about a business meeting.
But, according to the source cited by the Star, "they met in his office and talked for over three hours, and none of it had to do with work.
By the end, he asked her out on a date."

It is well known that Katie had declared in the past for "Seventeen" magazine that she grew up wanting to marry Tom. So, she probably pinched herself when Tom asked her out.
"She couldn't believe Tom Cruise was asking her out!", said the source.

A couple of days after the meeting, Tom was waiting for Katie in front of her home with a stretch limo filled with flowers and chocolate. The two went to one of Tom's private jets, where, instead of flying off, they had a fancy dinner.

Their privacy was on occasions interrupted, as "Tom kept having 'friends' drop by (the plane)", who were all fellow Scientology members who praised the virtues of the religion.

Next day, Tom and Katie flew to Rome, where they stayed in a $3,500 a-night suite in Hotel Hassler.

The lure: Wine (milk) and dine (cookies) first. Then on to Scientology courses. They're about going back to 'past incidents' that upset you. More and more. That's stressful. Look up 'Scientology TR's' to see what stress that causes.

In effect Scientology picked up Katie Holmes

This is the same treatment that clinician, William Sargant worked with and treated shell shocked soldiers with during the war - 'abbreactive therapy'. Scientology created the 'reactive mind' based on psychiatrist William Sargant's 'Abreactive or abnormal reaction.' Note Scientology's hate for psychiatry? Because L Ron Hubbard stole what William Sargant practiced and wrote. The treatment is discussed in his book, 'Battle for the Mind.' He later he wrote 'The Mind Possessed' and compared the 'collapse phase' of his treatment to be what happems to members in cults. Do we need a cult treating everyone for battle stress? Are we all that bad off?

William Sargant said and warned of this treatment -

"The Mind Possessed"
It must be emphasized again that it was not always essential in these treatments to make a patient in these abreactive treatments to make a patient recall the precise incident which had precipitated the breakdown. It was often enough to create in them a state of excitement and keep it going until the patient finally collapsed; he might then start to improve very rapidly. Imaginary situations might have to be invented or actual events distorted, especially when the patient, remembering the real experience which had caused the neurosis of reliving it under drugs, had not reached the transmarginal phase of collapse necessary to disrupt morbid behavior patterns.

One other important fact must be mentioned. If any patient is subjected to repeated abreaction on the couch, as in psychoanalysis and other more intensive forms of psychotherapy, and if this occurs over a period of months or years, he often becomes increasingly sensitive and suggestible to the therapists suggestions and interpretations of symptoms. A hypnoid state of brain activity may result. Patients may come to feel that in some way they are in the hands of a person of almost divine wisdom; they avidly accept suggestions from the therapist about altering their behavior, which would have become more unacceptable to them in their more normal state of mind. Quite bizarre interpretations are accepted and false memories are believed as facts if they fit in with the analysts own beliefs. It is necessary to emphasize as strongly as possible that in this stage of brain activity, brought about by continually stirring up the nervous system, and whether or not the transmarginal inhibitory collapse phase is finally reached, the patient can become sensitized, suggestible (or, rarely, pathologically unsuggestible), and often much too willing to adopt new attitudes and new behavior patterns which he would never have dreamt of accepting before. Freudians refer to this sort of thing ocurring in psychoanalysis as the 'transference situation' or as 'gaining insight.' I intend this book to show how it happens in states of supposed religious possession."

Talking about putting false or distorted memories into the teachings? You bet Xenu they have!

"The part which really made my jaw drop was what he disclosed here: "Tom Cruise became psychotic during a secret Scientology initiation in which one is told that rather than being one person, one is composed of thousands of aliens from all over the universe fighting for control of your body. After completing this initiation, known as OT III, Tom appeared sickly with black circles under his eyes and pasty skin..."

I think Katie Holmes was a 'mark' for Tom Cruise. What easier way to promote your Scientologist religion than to 'woo' a girl half your age who has already publicly stated that she wants to marry you?! She was handed her life long dream, why would she say no to anything he ever asks of her? It's a perfect scenario for him. She doesn't want to lose him and have everyone see that her biggest aspiration in life failed. so of course they always look like this perfect 'happy' couple with gazillions of $$ who owe it all to Scientology... Meanwhile, it seems that every other aspect of her life has all but dissapeared. Tom dictates what kind of movies she can be in, what public appearances she's in and so forth. I'm sure the only reason she was allowed to perform 'get happy' for SYTYCD 100th episode is because of the scientology "way to happiness foundation". Honestly I feel sorry for her because she seems to have gotten herself into something she probably doesn't have a clue how to get out of, and she looks very hollow inside these days.
