It was only a matter of time before someone drew up the rumored iTV based on the disclosures from Walter Isaacson’s biography of Steve Jobs, in which the late Apple co-founder is quoted as saying that he had finally “cracked” the television model.

In one interview with his biographer, Steve Jobs said he wanted to “create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use”.

“It would be seamlessly synced with all of your devices and with iCloud. No longer would users have to fiddle with complex remotes for DVD players and cable channels. ‘It will have the simplest user interface you could imagine. I finally cracked it.” Jobs said, according to Walter Isaacson, the author of his biography.

Based on this information and other rumors circulating on the web, artist Guilherme Schasiepen has uploaded some beautiful renderings on Flickr (as well as a 360 degree version), complete with a conceptual advertising campaign for the insanely-thin TV, in Apple-fashion.

The concept marketing page falls in line with most rumors about the unconfirmed HD TV set, including Siri remote control, iCloud integration, AirPlay, FaceTime, iTV apps (basically just a matter of time) and more.

There are a couple of far-fetched functions that Guilherme envisions as well, such as a Multi-Touch screen - hardly a utility for a 50-inch or larger display sitting on the wall six feet high, or tucked inside your media center; and glasses-free 3D, which is still eons away from a proper implementation.

Following a coverage of Steve Jobs’ bio, the New York Times recently reported that Apple does, indeed, plan to take over the living room with a full-fledged, Internet-based television offering.

That, however, is not expected to happen until 2013, according to the people quoted in the report.

Calling it the stuff of science fiction, the paper said of Apple’s new television that it will allow users to sit back and literally tell it what to play. The functionality would be enabled by Siri, the personal assistant launched by Apple last month with iOS 5.
