14 DAY TRIAL // A 44-year-old woman from Houston has been charged with murder after police responded to an assault in progress call at an apartment and found her boyfriend lying dead on the floor with multiple stab wounds to the head.
Ana Trujillo is believed to have killed him using one of her shoes, with the stiletto heel, ABC News reports.
No word yet on whether police think she was holding the shoe in her hand or was wearing it on her foot at the time of the attack.
Trujillo has been charged with murder and had bail set at $100,000 (€75,426). At the time of writing, she was no longer in custody, but she’s due in court later today.
“The county district attorney's office is handling the case and attempting to figure out exactly what happened the night of the fatal stabbing, Harris County District Attorney spokeswoman Sara Kinney [says],” ABC News writes.
