The video below shows you how to get “Big Brother“ off your tail. The man turns his hat into a device that blinds the camera, while still remaining undetectable to the naked eye.

According to Wikipedia, a light-emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor light source. In the past, LEDs were used as indicator lamps, emitting low-intensity red light. Nowadays, LEDs have applications in household lighting, traffic signs, billboards and automotive and aviation lighting.

To achieve this effect, you would need 8 high-intensity infrared LEDs and a hat. The hat will suffer – you have to poke 8 holes in it.

The LEDs have to be wired, and will be poking out of the holes. The wiring will be connected to a battery taped on the back of the hat, to which you can add a switch.

You might even find some LEDs around the house. They are used in remote controls or domestic appliances – TVs, DVD players etc.
