The 20-year-old actress had to be taken to a hospital in the Los Angeles area after she collapsed on the set of her latest movie, 'Georgia Rule'. After passing out, Lindsay was taken via a private car to one of the nearest medical centers.

Apparently, the heat wave that swept over California over the past few days, bringing the death of many people, has also affected the skinny starlet.

Lohan's representative told 'The Insider' that her client was 'overheated and dehydrated' and that 'she was filming in 105-degrees weather for 12 hours'.

At the hospital, she received medical attention and had to spent a few hours in bed, in order to be administered a Vitamin B shot. Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, Lindsay's spokesperson said that she will be back on set today.

Lohan is currently shooting the 'Georgia Rule' drama, directed by Garry Marshall and co-starring Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman.
