As we already know by now, this summer is all about being vibrant and daring. Color-wise, that means trying your hand - and some other various parts of your body - at new shades and colors that you wouldn't normally go for and prepare to be surprised at the outcomes. So, ladies, it's time to put the pastels and the traditional, neutral shades aside and focus on
bringing as much color into your life as possible, without going too much over the top. Here are some suggestions as to what, how much and what shades you could put on, ahead of hitting the club scene for the weekend.
1.Orange lipstick. No, don't cringe, I'm not talking neon-orange, although if your skin tone and personality allow you to pull that off, good for you. For the more conservative, slightly reluctant among us, the options are pale orange, coral, papaya or peach, depending on skin, hairstyle and face
conformation. Don't be afraid to spice up your life with a mixture of orange hues. Orange is a bright, warm, lively color and it will definitely put you in a good mood for going out, whether it's shopping or meeting your friends for lunch or dinner.
2.Orange nail lacquer to match your lipstick. It will give you a fresh, unexpectedly vibrant air and leave your friends wondering just where this amount of energy and self-confidence is coming from.
3.White mascara. Admit it - this one is completely new. So far, white mascara has been one of the two steps we would take when using a multi-purpose mascara, and would only serve to add volume and body to our lashes before adding the "real" color - black, brown or purple - on top. Well, not anymore. White lashes are in, and be sure to give this new trend a shot using a complementing eye shadow in shades of pastel pink or yellow.
4.Glittery colored eyeshadow - crease-free little wonders in shades of blue, pink and lime to spice up your day and brighten up your face while giving you a girlish, innocent-but-trendy look that will make you feel confident and full of energy.
