Hope Solo and her husband Jerramy Stevens are making headlines again for issues not related to their performances on the field. Stevens was arrested hours ago for probation violation in relation to a November 12 physical altercation he was involved in.

This would be the same altercation in which Solo, then Stevens’ fiancé (but wife only a few days later), got a laceration on her elbow that prompted so many reports about a possible situation of domestic abuse.

It also involved 7 other people, E! News has learned.

“The ex-Seattle Seahawk was taken into custody Wednesday in Tampa for purportedly violating his probation earned from a prior arrest for marijuana possession,” the publication confirms.

“The Florida Department of Corrections notified the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office that the violation resulted from the physical altercation the 33-year-old Stevens got into on Nov. 12 at a late night party in Kirkland, Wash,” says the same media outlet.

As we also reported at the time, when police arrived on the scene and saw the injury on Solo’s arm, they assumed domestic violence might be the case.

However, Hope refused to say anything against her man or, for that matter, to offer any explanation for what had happened. The next day, Stevens walked because there wasn’t enough evidence against him to prosecute.

Fast forward to a few days later and Hope and Jerramy were married in secret, even though initial reports claimed the fight was related to the wedding in the first place.

It’s just now that Hope is speaking out on the issue, writing on her Twitter that she will stand by her man and insisting that not all is as it seems.

“I feel bad for all the ignorance in the world. People are so quick to judge. The media spins stories in such dramatic fashion,” she writes.

“I will Continue to show love, and never make judgements.I am blessed w True Love & the beautiful game of soccer.I wish everybody the same happiness,” Hope adds.
