A nice range of new enhancements are now available for the users of HootSuite for BlackBerry, including various performance improvements, as well as bug fixes and new features.

According to the development team behind the application has added support for more social networks into the mix, so that users would be able to interact with their followers in more ways.

HootSuite for BlackBerry enables users easily connect with their contacts on LinkedIn, Foursquare, Facebook and Twitter, all through a mobile application available for download for free.

The latest release of this mobile software brings forth new features like:

LinkedIn: Add your account (on OS5 and OS6) or import from HootSuite web and view news updates and profiles Foursquare: Comments on check-ins from your friends Facebook: Add Pages directly from your handset, plus view events and search Twitter: Favoriting: Add faves from the stream or by individual messages Friends: Choose recently-replied-to contacts in Compose screen plus see friendship status Posting: Reply-all for Tweets + see network icons overlaid on avatars Lists: Create and manage Twitter lists including following and viewing

As stated above, the new application version is being delivered with a series of other improvements as well, including some related to account import.

The performance of the mobile application was also updated, and a series of bug fixes were included into the mix as well.

Among the other enhancements that the new application release comes with, we can count increased network connection reliability, and changes message stream gap handling.
