14 DAY TRIAL // One of the best Android clients for social networking, HootSuite has just been updated with major improvements that will enhance users' experience even further.
According to the developers, they have moved to Twitter's new API 1.1, as API 1.0 is being deprecated soon. This means that all HootSuite users must upgrade to version 2.2+ in order to continue using the application.
Aside from this major change, developers also added some improvements to Facebook image previews and to widget UI.
Other bug fixes and stability enhancements have been included in the update as well, but no additional details have been provided on these.
The new HootSuite 2.2.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.5 and up. Check it out here.
