Honey Boo Boo (real name Alana Thompson) and her family are the latest reality stars to find international fame on TLC. Not only are they super-rich and super-famous today, but they also remain extremely controversial because of their unique (for lack of a better term) lifestyle.
Speaking with GMA, Mama June, Honey Boo Boo’s mom, explains that they’re as real as it gets, there is absolutely nothing scripted about them – and I totally believe her, since she’s clearly having a hard time getting a word out, what with Alana’s constant interruptions.
The same happens on the show, so it’s probably not scripted.
The interview ends with Honey Boo Boo taking over (again) to do the Harlem Shake and, I have to admit, it’s perhaps the most fun part from it.
