Joanna Cieslak, 31-year-old, and Pawel Janicki, 32-year-old, are the last two victims of an online scam conducted through a web commercial. Today, Scotsman.com informs that the two Polish women agreed to pay no less than 500 pounds to an unknown person met on the web, who had promised them a home in the United Kingdom. After the two women saw an advert on a Polish website, they decided to pay 250 pounds each to fly over the UK and start a new life. On August 19th, they took the plane to Prestwick to meet another woman, met through the web advertisement, the same publication continues.

Wioletta Stepien, 27-year-old, and Lucas Zylinsky, 24-year-old, packed the women's luggage, which included a laptop and some food as they told the court, into a car and informed them they will go to Dixon Avenue, Govanhill, Glasgow.

"The vehicle made off with the luggage of the two complainers inside", Aileen Thom, prosecuting, said to the judge, according to Scotsman.com.

Although the risks of trusting unknown persons met on the web are often underlined by the security companies, publications or even by the common users on the Internet, it seems like some people still can't get it and prefer to become victims of such malicious persons. This is the best example you can get that the Internet is not a safe place anymore, and I really don't think it is going to be anytime soon.

Some of you might say the women were too naive, if they really thought that they could start a new life in Great Britain, through a person met on the web, with only 250 pounds. But, this is only pure truth, as it is happening day by day in every corner of the world, where naive users fail to protect themselves and turn into new web fraud victims.
