Homefront has just received an update on the Xbox 360 platform, with its developer, Kaos Studios, announcing that the patch will resolve all 'profile freeze' issues.

Homefront was launched at the middle of March, and was plagued by quite a few issues on all platforms, ranging from the PC to the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 ones.

Its developer, Kaos Studios, has revealed that the first title update for the game has now been deployed onto Xbox Live, and will be automatically downloaded once you start the game and are connected to the Internet.

The game had encountered a number of glitches on all platforms, but things were the worst on the Xbox 360, as the game completely froze during the loading process, and didn't even let users see the start screen of the title.

Despite the fact that THQ, the parent company of Kaos Studios, has laid off a part of the team, the studio says that it still has a full-time team which will provide support for Homefront through downloadable content and subsequent patches and updates.

"We have a full-time team here at Kaos Studios dedicated to ongoing support on the technical side, as well as development of a wide range of exciting DLC that we’re not quite ready to talk about just yet, but hope to unveil to you in the very near future," the studio revealed on its website. "We’d like to thank you for your continued patience, and assure you that we will continue to support our multiplayer community for many months to come."

More Homefront updates will be released in the following weeks, according to Kaos, but the company can't reveal any details just yet, so we'll just have to wait and see what other patches will arrive.

The game is still available on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and you can even check out our Homefront review here.
