On October 29th, Google might make official a host of new devices running under its upcoming Android 4.2 operating system flavor, and one of them might arrive from Samsung as Galaxy Nexus II.

The device has already made it online a few times before in UAProfs and EXIF data of Picasa photos, yet no specific details on what it might include when launched has emerged so far.

According to some rumors, it might prove to be both larger and faster than the original Galaxy Nexus, yet that remains to be seen.

In the meantime, however, users can feast their eyes with a Samsung Galaxy Nexus II concept phone coming from Bob Freking and inspired by Holo and Nexus Q.

The device might never arrive on shelves in this form, but that doesn’t mean that users cannot dream of it being set to hit shelves at some point in the future.

Bob Freking has designed this device with the same large HD AMOLED screen as Samsung’s Galaxy Note II smartphone, but no longer pentile (according to concept-phones, it might not measure 5.5-inch diagonally).

The concept device also features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, as well as an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for HD video recording capabilities, the same as all of the latest high-end Android smartphones out there do.

The phone’s outer design resembles that of Galaxy Nexus, which further suggests that the screen might not be too large. A front camera can also be seen in the images attached to this article.

Although only a concept device for the time being, Galaxy Nexus II might easily prove a real smartphone, and Google and Samsung could easily make it official one week from now, provided that the previous rumors on the matter will pan out.

Have a look at this concept smartphone and let us know whether you would like for Samsung and Google to design a Galaxy Nexus successor in a similar manner.
