14 DAY TRIAL // Shortly after Hugh Hefner announced his engagement to his current number one girlfriend Crystal Harris, word got out that ex Holly Madison was very jealous she hadn’t been able to score a ring from the Playboy mogul.
Madison recently sat down with Life & Style to talk about it and, while she insists she’s not jealous, she does put in her 2 cents about the relationship and, of course, the engagement.
As she sees it, the age difference could be an issue if The Hef ever marries Crystal, in that she’s far too young to be ready to settle down.
Because of this, she may break Hefner’s heart, Holly believes, because she may end the relationship when the mogul least expects it.
Even more, Holly believes Crystal is actually Hefner’s money, which is why she’s already spoken to him and warned him to get an ironclad prenup, lest they divorce and she walks away with half of his fortune.
“I’d like to see Hef settle down. I just want it to be with the right person, and I feel like he’s making a hasty decision. I’m not sure Crystal is the best thing for him,” Holly says for the magazine.
She then goes on to say that Hefner needs to know Crystal better before making this kind of commitment and rushing her down the aisle.
“Crystal hasn’t been around very long – she’s a mysterious character. No one knows much about her. Plus, she’s very young, probably too young to settle down. I’ve seen a lot of girls try to date Hef, and some have ulterior motives,” Holly explains.
“I don’t think it would be a bad idea for him to get to know her a little better. I think it’s possible Crystal could break Hef’s heart. They could end up divorcing, and she could take half his money,” she says.
Madison insists she’s not jealous that Hefner chose another, much younger blonde to settle down after she spent years by his side trying to get him to propose to her and start a family.
“I’m not jealous that he’d marry someone else. I just don’t want it to be a girl who’s using him to start her career. Basically, I think he could do better than Crystal,” she adds on a final note.
