
In her first attempt ever to star in a television series, Holly Hunter signed on for TNT's cop show, 'Saving Grace'. The drama centers around a jaded female cop (Hunter) who is visited by an angel and is offered the chance to start her life all over again and to redeem herself.
TNT ordered the pilot to be done almost a year ago, but it always got delayed for unknown reasons. If the show will get approval, after the airing of the pilot, it will start shooting very soon and people will be able to see it this autumn.
The script was written by Nanci Miller ('CSI: Miami') and the series will be produced by E. Duke Vincent and Fox TV Studios.
Holly Hunter already has four Oscar nominations and got to take one golden statuette home for her lead part in 'The Piano', in 1994. Recently, she starred in Rodrigo Garcia's 'Nine Lives'.
