Today, HitmanPro received an update to beta release 3.7.7 build 205. The official release notes do not announce too many changes and there is no new feature available.

However, the developer informs that the fresh revision includes forensics-based universal detection for the infamous Sinowal/Torpig Trojan.

Apart from this, the compatibility with TeaTimer module from Spybot S&D has been improved. TeaTimer’s purpose is to constantly monitor processes that are initiated and analyze if any of them is malicious.

The latest beta for HitmanPro brings to the table a couple of fixes that touch on processing of ShellServiceObjectDelayLoad startup entries and SharedTaskScheduler startup entries.

HitmanPro is designed as a complementary solution for the anti-malware utility running on the system. It is portable, so no installation is required and it can be launched from a removable storage device as well.
