A new build is now available for HitmanPro 3.7.5. Revision 197 of the application brings to the table overall improvements regarding the detection of malicious code. It also integrates the modifications from the previous beta build.

The developer included detection of drive-by-downloads for Java exploits. This is achieved through forensic clustering and the ability to remove Gapz bootkit, via the Kickstart component.

Overall forensic clustering has been enhanced, especially when it comes to detecting zero-day ransomware. On the same note, starting the malware detection and removal process from command line should work better in this revision, just like the malware remnants scanner.

As far as fixes are concerned, the new release addresses the problem that caused the keyboard to become unresponsive in Kickstart BIOS Boot Menu. The Kickstart component has been updated to version 2.2.
