Hitman will be a movie

The trend of making movies inspired from games and games inspired from movies is far from over, on the contrary, the producers form both industries are more and more attracted to the idea.

After Tomb Raider has linked Lara Croft's image to Angelina Jolie, and The Rock is getting ready to go against the aliens from Doom (an idea taken from Doom 3), now, it’s Vin Diesel’s turn to play Agent 47, the main character of the Hitman franchise.

The three games from the Hitman series have sold until now 10 million copies and Eidos is developing another title, Hitman: Blood Money.

In the movie produced by 20th Century Fox, Vin Diesel will not only play Agent 47, but he will also be executive producer.

Eidos has big plans for Vin Diesel and wants to borrow the actor’s voice for a new title from the Hitman series. Eidos hopes that this title will be released together with the movie.
