14 DAY TRIAL // There’s some good and bad news for fans of Hitman franchise. The bad news is that Square Enix has canceled the next installment in the series, which was expected to be unveiled sometime this year.
According to Videogamer, the LindkedIn profile of Senior Game Designer Richard Knight has been updated with new information, which confirms that the next Hitman game was canceled last year.
The good news is that Square Enix Montreal is reportedly working on an “unannounced Hitman game,” which is specifically aimed at Android and iOS.
Unfortunately, other than the existence of the mobile project, no other details are available regarding Hitman for Android and iOS platforms.
